Catalogue of Polish coins
Old and new złoty
The 56 standard types are divided into two monetary systems. The first covers post-war issues before redenomination; the second those intended for the new złoty. Dates on the coins may precede the introduction of their respective system.
Denominations are expressed in groszy and złoty in both periods, but the 1995 reform changed their value at a ratio of ten thousand to one. The catalogue also distinguishes changes in metal and size; ranges do not imply continuous annual minting.
